U Sein Aung Min
Born August 1918 in Myitkyo village, Laymyethnar township, Henzada district; son of U Po Hiaing and Daw Ngwe Pyu, cultivators; took up dancing as a career; apprentice in Saya Sa's musical troupe; joined "England Sein's" theatrical group; made his debut as "Sein Aung Min" in Daw Aung Myat Thins' troupe, Mandalay; established own troupe in 1942 and is now a well known and popular exponent of Burmese dance and drama: toured the USSR, 1957; USA, UK, 1959 and the People's Republic of China, 1960. Awarded the title, Wunna Kyaw Htin, January 1957. Married Daw Kyi (Sein Lady); seven children.
