Bagan
Bagan also know as Pagan and formally known as Arimaddanapura was the ancient capital Myanmar Kingdoms. It is located in Mandalay Division in the central dry land of Myanmar. It is about 90 miles southwest of Mandalay city on the eastern bank of Ayeyarwady River.
Bagan is famous for its thousands of religious buildings and Pagoda. Most of the structures were built around 1000 to 1200 AD, during the time Bagan was the capital of first Burmese Empire. Each historic Pagoda and building has its own unique story associated with it.
Any one who is traveling to Myanmar should visit Bagan for it majestic religious architecture and romantic sun set on the bank of Ayeyarwady River. Many artist and entertainer in Myanmar have written poems, songs and stories about the city from begin of Myanmar history to current day. It is a must see place.
